Pallet Racking
Experience, know-how and modern production methods are critical ingredients for designing and producing pallet racking. The line of pallet racking offered by Schaefer Systems meets all of these.
Schaefer engineers continuously research the market to stay abreast of new technologies and trends. They are in touch with our customers to find out how the industry is changing and what their needs are.
As with all Schaefer products, only products meeting the most stringent quality standards are marketed to our customers.
Pallet Racking Advantages
- Precision manufacturing process ensures uniform appearance.
- Uprights install quickly and easily to required height.
- Standard depths are 36", 42", 48". Other depths are available.
- All upright frames are reinforced with 1.5" wide closed-lip, and horizontal and diagonal bracing to resist
- damage in transit and from forklift abuse. 1.5" x 1.25" horizontal bracing is placed approximately 8" from the floor to help resist impact damage and allow ease in lagging foot place to the floor.
Selecting Your Beam
- Find the required clear width in the top column
- Follow the row down to determine the beam capacity and part number needed
- Determine the maximum vertical height based on product
- See the capacity chart on page 52 to determine frame part number prefix
Pallet Rack
- Standard color: green uprights and orange beams (other colors available)
- Beam and uprights constructed of prime U.S.-made high-strength steel
- High-quality polyurethane paint. Environmentally safe
Does not contain lead
Pallet Rack Accessories
- Rigid wall spacer
- Row spacer
- Column protector
- Anchoring bolts
- Axle bracket
- Crossbars
- Base plate shims
Upright Frame Capacities
The table below has been calculated in accordance with the April 15, 1997, edition of the RMI “Specification for the Design, Testing, and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks” and the edition of the AISI “Specification for the Design of Cold-Formed Steel Structural Members."
- For vertical shelf spacing greater than 96" please contact us
- Shelf spacing is measured from the floor to the top of the first beam or the maximum shelf spacing (whichever is greater)
